The New Zealand Pavilion at the 2010 World Expo was developed by a consortium of leading designers in response to the theme: ‘Better Cities, Better Life’. Visitors to the pavilion walked among large, high resolution video walls that projected compelling images of New Zealand.  Motion Pacific was contracted by visitor experience experts, Story! Inc. to create a ‘rain’ sequence that swept through the pavilion as a metaphor that refreshes the video cycle. The New Zealand Pavilion attracted 4.5 million visitors over a six month period and won a silver award for theme development – placing it in the top eight of 250 pavilions at the Expo.
